Tutor
Katherine studied Media and Communications majoring in Writing and Publishing at the University of New England graduating in 2014. She then continued her studies at Southern Cross University where she received her Bachelor of Secondary Education with a double major in English and HSIE in 2015. She has since taught locally in Coffs Harbour and away in both the public and private systems.
Katherine has always had a passion for learning and a love of all things English. In her time of teaching, she has also stepped into various roles for extracurricular programs such as Chess Coordinator, Philosothon Coordinator, and co-coordinator of GOLD (an outdoor adventure program for girls). Katherine has previously played and coached soccer locally and likes to stay active.
During the last few years, Katherine and her partner travelled Australia and have since returned to their hometown of Coffs Harbour after the birth of their son in 2024. As a teacher and a tutor, Katherine’s main goal is to help her students to become lifelong learners.
