English Tutor
Erin attended Southern Cross University, graduating in 2020 with a Bachelor of Arts/Bachelor of Education (Primary/Secondary), majoring in Secondary English. She has 2 years of experience teaching in both primary and secondary schools in the local area. This year, Erin also engaged in part-time casual teaching after working as a Disability Support Worker for a year and returning from maternity leave.
In her secondary teaching experience, Erin has taught years 7-10 and Senior English Studies (Years 11 and 12). Through English Studies, she has had the opportunity to design and implement engaging programs that not only met students at their skill level, but offered multiple opportunities for growth and extension. Erin has had experience in teaching an IM (Mild Intellectual Disability) class, offering literacy support and assisting them in achieving their Life Skills outcomes.
She is married and has a 1 year old son. In her spare time, you’ll find Erin going on walks with her family (with a coffee in hand, of course!) or camping out in the bush.
She has a passion for education and supporting students to meet their academic needs, and a desire to help shape students into becoming confident and kind human beings.
