Tutor
Ellen is a caring and committed educator with experience supporting children and young people in their social and educational development. She holds a Bachelor of Education Studies and a Bachelor of Arts/Bachelor of Education from Southern Cross University and is also an authorised marriage celebrant.
Ellen has a strong understanding of working with children with diverse needs, including ASD and ADHD. She is dedicated to helping her students build confidence and independence in a supportive and inclusive environment. Her background spans classroom teaching, higher education, and community engagement, which allows her to tailor learning experiences to meet the unique needs of each child.
Ellen’s teaching approach is practical, empathetic, and grounded in both professional expertise and personal experience. She focuses on helping children develop foundational literacy, numeracy, and social skills, fostering both growth and a love of learning.
Outside of teaching, Ellen enjoys spending time with her family, visiting the beach, listening to podcasts, and practicing pilates.
